“Gdynia is in the Polish part of Bavaria, a region famed for its flora and fauna – some of which has found its way onto the upholstery of double-decker doozie Althaus. While the deer heads mounted on the wall are clearly carved wooden replicas, several calves gave their hides to the cause of diner comfort by adorning the ground-floor seating.

In fact the influence of the surrounding area has been emphasised throughout the interior of the two-storey restaurant by designers PB/STUDIO and Filip Kozarski. Golden oak is the wood that gives the place such a natural feel, utilised as flooring, ceiling, and attractively arranged in diagonal patterns on a feature wall.” (via)
